Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PillVault application ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

PillVault is an iOS application that uses on-device AI to count pills via your iPhone camera, track medication supply inventory, and provide smart refill alerts. Features include AI-powered pill detection and counting, medication inventory tracking with days-remaining estimates, customizable refill notifications, and optional HealthKit sync.

2. Important Limitations

PillVault is for personal inventory tracking only. You understand and agree that:

• The App is not medical advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical guidance.
• Pill counts are estimates generated by AI and may not be perfectly accurate in all conditions.
• Refill date estimates are based on the daily dosage information you provide and may not reflect actual usage.
• The App is not a medical or diagnostic tool and should not be used for clinical or pharmacy-level decisions.
• Always verify pill counts manually when accuracy is critical.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Rely on the App as a sole source of medication dosage or medical information
• Use the App in a manner that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or free tier limitations

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free tier: Available at no cost with 3 scans per day, 1 medication tracked, basic refill alerts, and 7-day scan history.
• Premium Monthly: $4.99/month for unlimited scanning, all medications, custom alerts, HealthKit sync, widgets, and no ads.
• Premium Annual: $34.99/year (save 42%) with a 7-day free trial.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. User Content

Medication data, pill counts, and scan records are stored locally on your device. You retain all rights to data you create using the App. We do not access, collect, or store your data on any server.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, AI models, and content, is owned by Bulpara Inc and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, THAT PILL COUNTS WILL BE PERFECTLY ACCURATE, OR THAT REFILL ESTIMATES WILL MATCH ACTUAL USAGE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Inaccurate pill counts or detection errors
• Missed or incorrect refill date estimates
• Decisions made based on App data without professional medical consultation
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Device battery or storage impact from app usage

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulpara Inc from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the business.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
